its a slide lock

or

slide stop

and try keeping your left thumb aligned and below your right thumb as you grip --to stay away from it

Great Video.

I might have to take a closer look at this gun. When the .45 comes out for it, you just buy the barrel and magazine, and then your good to go?

I'm guessing that these interchangeable parts will cost almost as much as a new gun when you add them up the prices.

They still have not come out with the extras - I'm getting ancy. The rumor was that the .40 caliber was due out this month and possibly the sub-compact grip.

IMO this gun shoots itself - It has grown on me, a lot. I give it a 9.

I dont have one... But I know some LEO's personally that just think there is nothing better...

The next town over from where I live (Davie is its name), Their PD use Sigs. I dont know which model they use, but I know they use Sigs as their duty arm.

Ive been looking at the P225 German police trade ins but they're only 8 rounders and I want hi-cap only.

I LOVE Sigs. A p229 .40 cal was my first gun, and I'll never get rid of it.
I don't see the need for the p250 though....

This is the truth. Why not just have different guns? Is this really a "problem" that needs fixing? I like shooting different guns. Sometimes ya want to blast a 1911, other times you feel like a glock 30sf. Makarovs, wheelguns, kahrs....I like 'em all. Don'e give me solutions to problems that don't exist. Seems gimicky to me.

Btw Rob, I cannot believe that you would refer to Davie as a "town"...:confused_ma:

Yes I am a Sig addict as well. It doesn't help that I live 1.5 hrs away from the factory. Took a couple of classes there, including the armorers class. I have a 226 (9mm), 220 (45), and a 250 that I am waiting for my dealer to call me so I can go pick it up. I have big monkey hands and I found the Hogue finger groove grips are amazing. Of course you can't use them on the 250... My next project is putting the SRT on the 226 and 220.
